This practical cylinder aid is ideal for modeling cups, cans, jugs, lanterns or other cylindrical objects from clay.
The clay should be rolled out to a thickness of approximately 6 mm and then wrapped around this cylinder. The included cutter is approximately 12 mm wider in diameter and can be used to create the base of a cup, for example.
In this state, our stamp (and others too, of course 😉 ) can be easily pressed in from the outside without it becoming deformed.
The narrow fitting strip can then be easily removed, and with the help of the 2 holes you can press the shape together so that the diameter is reduced and you can remove the cylinder aid.
A release agent such as starch, newspaper, or something similar is recommended, and it certainly takes some practice, but then you can achieve great results.
